About
Dr Howard McCormick was a GP in Cowes from 2002 to 2007 and returned from Wonthaggi in 2013. Howard is a supervisor in the GP training program and has been involved in medical student training for many years. He was GP Supervisor of the year in 2011. As an international speaker, he has been the Education Convenor and Presenter for a number of medical conferences around the world. Howard has been part of the Medical and Aged Group since soon after it was formed.

Dr Langston has been a doctor with Phillip Island Medical Group since 2004; when returning back home in Cowes. Dr Langston has extensive experience as a Rural GP working in rural and remote communities including New South Wales, Northern Territory and 10 years in far North Queensland (Mossman). Dr Langston has also worked within the United Kingdom Hospital System as well as Latrobe Regional Hospital, and Trafalgar Medical Centre here in South Gippsland.

Since Migrating to Australia in 2016 worked in the emergency departments of North adelaide, Launceston and worked and continue to work in many hospitals in Victoria as a Locum senior emergency doctor.

Work History

Dr Ali has many years’ experience of working in general and acute medicine in different countries including Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, UK and Australia. While in Saudi Arabia, Dr Ali has completed a 4-year full time residency program in Emergency Medicine (2007 – 2012). Then he moved to the UK and joined Emergency Medicine in Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS University Hospitals (2012-2014). While working in the UK, Dr Ali obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physician (MRCP) in medicine.

Dr Ali has worked for 3 years in Emergency Medicine in Peninsula Health, Australia (2014-2016).

In 2017, Dr Ali has joined as a GP and is confident managing a diversity of acute and chronic health conditions.

Work History
After graduating from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka in 2010, Dr Suranji worked as an Anaesthetist for a number of years. In 2015 she transitioned to General Practice and moved to Australia in 2017. Since then, she has worked as a GP in multiple locations around Melbourne including Rowville, Cranbourne and Hastings. Dr. Suranji is a person who is friendly and welcoming. Her experience of working in Australia and overseas over the past decade has made her a confident GP who is able to manage a variety of conditions. She is passionate about her career and ready to provide the best duty of care to her patients.
